Privacy policy
Kindred has no sign-up, and your answers and results are not stored on the operator's servers. Below is a complete account of what information stays where, and where it goes, while you use this service.
At a glance
- The operator collects and keeps no personal information.
- The name you enter and your test answers are stored only briefly in the browser you're using now, and they disappear when you close the tab or window.
- If you send your result link, the person who gets it can see the trait scores in that link. Your name and individual answers are not in the link.
Information stored only in your browser
- The name you entered on the first screen (you don't have to enter one)
- How far you got in the test and the answers you chose
- Your five trait scores from the test (if you retake the test in the same tab, the scores from your previous result too, so the two can be shown side by side)
- Situation answers you chose on the result screen (for example, how work is going these days)
- When you arrived through someone else's result link, the code in that link
- The language you chose for this tab (Korean or English)
This information is stored in your browser's session storage (sessionStorage) and is not sent to the operator's servers. The operator can't see it, and it is deleted when you close the browser tab or window.
Information in links and codes
- Result links, compatibility links, and the 7-character code contain your five trait scores and a data version number.
- Your name, individual answers, and situation answers are not included.
- Anyone who receives the link can see the same result, so choose who to send it to yourself. The operator can't take back a link that has already been sent.
Information that goes to other companies when a page loads
- Kindred is delivered through Cloudflare. When a page loads, Cloudflare may process access records (IP address, requested address, browser information, and time of access), and the requested address may contain the code from a result link.
- The fonts on the screen are loaded from jsDelivr and Google Fonts. When that happens, your IP address and browser information are passed to those two services.
- Each company handles these records under its own privacy policy, and the operator does not use them to find out who users are.
Visit statistics
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people start and finish the test.
- This tool doesn't use cookies or tell visitors apart one by one; it looks at visited page addresses, the previous page's address, browser and device type, country, and how fast pages load, all in aggregate.
- Visited addresses may contain the code from a result link. The code holds only the five trait scores, not your name.
Cookies and sharing with third parties
- Kindred's pages don't create cookies.
- Since the operator keeps no personal information, there is no personal information to share with anyone else.
How to delete stored information
- Closing the browser tab or window deletes all stored information.
- To delete it right away, delete this site's data in your browser settings.
If this policy changes
- If we add ads or paid features, we'll start handling new information. Before adding them, we'll update this policy first and announce it on this page.
